Bright House Networks High-Speed Internet Service Just Got Faster

Maitland, FL--Bright House Networks today announced an increase in the maximum downstream speed for its broadband Internet customers to 3 Mbps (Megabits per second) from 2 Mbps.  All Bright House Networks broadband customers using Road Runner High Speed Online, AOL for Broadband, EarthLink High Speed Internet and Internet Junction High Speed Cable will enjoy enhanced speed at no additional cost.

The 50 percent increase in the broadband network’s downstream speed enables Bright House Networks customers to enjoy even faster downloads of their favorite video, music and other information. Customers will also be able to experience the newest game sites, surf the Internet or shop online at lightning fast speeds. The standard upstream speed of 384 Kbps (Kilobits per second) will remain unchanged.  As a multiple Internet service provider, Bright House Networks offers broadband customers a choice of Road Runner High Speed Online, AOL for Broadband, EarthLink High Speed Internet and Internet Junction High Speed Cable.
