Health Benefits

Bright House Networks offers an extensive health, vision, and dental care benefit program, flexible enough so that our employees can design and adjust their own plans individually, depending upon their needs.

  • Medical Insurance - Employees may choose from several different medical plan options depending on their lifestyle, needs and priorities. Point of Service (POS) Network and two HMO plans are included.
  • Prescription Drug Benefit - Prescription drug coverage is part of all company medical programs.
  • Vision - Bright House Networks vision plan provides benefits for a routine eye examination, frames, lenses or contact lenses.
  • Dental Insurance - The plan pays 100 percent of reasonable and customary charges for two annual examinations and cleanings and one set of routine x-rays within a 12-month period. It covers 75 percent for oral surgery, 75 percent for fillings and simple extractions and 50 percent for crowns and dentures.
  • Mental Health and Substance Abuse Treatment - This coverage is included in the company medical program.

Other Programs and Services

As a regular full-time employee at Bright House Networks, you are eligible for a number of other great benefits, including:

  • Life Insurance - The full cost of basic employee life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage is paid by the company.
  • Disability Programs - Bright House Networks provides short-term and long-term disability benefits free-of-charge to employees.
  • Pension Plan - This plan is designed to work with social security and the Bright House Networks plan to provide you with retirement income.
  • Bright House Networks Savings Plan - The 401(k) Plan is designed to help employees prepare for the future. Eligible employees may contribute up to 60 percent of their pay to the plan on a pre-tax basis. Bright House Networks contributes 66 2/3 cents for each $1 contributed by the employee up to 10 percent of his/her salary.
  • Sick Time, Vacations and Holidays - Depending upon employee classifications, employees are able to accrue time off for personal illness and vacation. Employees celebrate several paid holidays throughout the year.
