Q:  Now that I live in a Bright House, will I still receive the same channel packages I had with Time Warner Cable?

A:  Yes. All packages remain the same for all former Time Warner customers. Also, all your equipment - Smart Boxes, remotes, etc. - will continue to function as they always have.

Q:  How did you select the name Bright House Networks?

A:  When we set out to find a new name for the company, we wanted a name that's different from typical cable companies to signal that this new company was going to be a different, better kind of cable company. A “Bright House” is a whole new kind of home where you enjoy the best in entertainment and information services how and when you want them.


Q:  How will Bright House be different?

A:  We will now be able to offer you best of both worlds. As a result of the $350 million multi-year investment in a state-of-the-art fiber optic network, we have a system in place that not only delivers the latest technology such as Digital Cable, iCONTROL, HDTV and High Speed Internet, but is also ready today to bring you future products and services.

Q:  What does this change mean for your customers?

A:  We are focusing on products and services that truly put you in control of information and entertainment, such as expanding Subscription Video On Demand, offering you Digital Video Recorders to allow you to easily watch what you want, when you want, and a new Family Combo package designed to offer more products and services.

Q:  So, you are a whole new company?

A:  We are a “brighter” company, thinking harder and smarter in your interests. Our team has worked tirelessly for many years in Central Florida to deliver quality products and services to our customers, and now we will make that experience even better.

Q:  How many customers does Bright House Networks serve?

A:  Bright House Networks serves 2.1 million customers in Orlando, Tampa, Birmingham, Detroit, Indianapolis and Bakersfield. Of those 6 divisions, the majority of the customers live in the Orlando and Tampa Bay areas.

Q:  How many employees do you have as Bright House Networks?

A:  There are 1,800 Bright House Networks employees right here in Central Florida. They are the team members who made the company the solid success it is today. Our employees are focusing on hard work and dedication and relying on immense industry experience to create a company that does even more for our customers. We will provide you with the best customer service ever.

Q:  Will Bright House Networks be involved in supporting local charitable organizations with money and volunteer support?

A:  Bright House Networks is committed to the communities it serves. Our company's employees have donated thousands of hours and dollars each year to the Central Florida community. Our community spirit will continue as Bright House Networks employees.

Q:  What about the company's support for education and the arts?

A:  We are proud of the fact that our leadership role in the arts has earned the company the top award for Corporate Support of the Arts from United Arts of Central Florida for three consecutive years, and Bright House Networks plans to uphold that high standard. The same holds true with support of education by providing complimentary cable service to public schools in our service area and teacher training workshops and recognition.
